Cutting Carbon

Climate Challenge Fund

Cadder Cutting Carbon is an energy reduction and climate change project funded by the Scottish Government through the Climate Challenge Fund.  The objective of the project is to reduce the carbon foot print of all residents within the Cadder Community.   The project will also help residents in the community cut down on their domestic energy consumption.

The project involves home visit to carry out home energy check and awareness events in the community centre. These will support residents with information that will enable reduction in their energy bills and cut down their carbon foot print.  A big part of the project is the construction of a new Cadder Community Centre; an eco-facility space designed to add to the regeneration drive of the Cadder Community.
