Improvements to our Estates

We would like to update our residents on vital estate works due to commence on Monday 21 February 2022.

Residents have advised us of their frustrations with litter in the area, and this has been made worse by recent storms.  In light of this, we have arranged for a specialist ground maintenance contractor to carry out a one-off litter pick of the whole area from Monday 21 February to Thursday 24 February 2022.  Operatives will be working throughout the estate in order to clean up Cadder for our residents.

To follow up on this, we are also in the early stages of organising a ‘Community Action Day’ on Wednesday 30 March 2022.  This will involve a litter pick and tidy up of some of the shrub beds throughout the estate.  Further details about this event will be released in the coming weeks!

As well as litter, we have been contacted by a number of residents about the trees in the estate.  Our specialist contractor will therefore also be carrying out a tree survey and tree pruning throughout all common areas.  It is anticipated that these works will start on 28 February 2022.

Finally, the Association is making arrangements for all hedges in the Cadder estate to be cut back, and it is anticipated this will be completed by the end of March 2022.
